The GSA Portfolio is our real money portfolio, which we
actively trade in the market. The Auto Portfolio on the other hand, is an automated portfolio, where we have built in buy/sell criteria based on our trading rules. It is designed to see if a purely emotionless system can handily beat the market over time. We also look at the signals (buys and sells) generated from the Auto Portfolio to see if we should buy or sell that particular stock in our real world portfolio. Hope that helps.
